How to Become a Member (It's easy!)

Step 1. Get in touch!!

You can get an application at any meeting or society event, at the museum, or a member can get you one. Meetings are held the last Thursday of each month (except July & December) at the Robert C Carpenter building at 6:30pm.


Step 2. Apply!

Just submit the application with membership dues.  Membership in the Society is $20.00 per person plus $10 for each additional family member, and only $5.00 for juniors (pebble pups ages 10-17).

Step 3. Its Official!!

Just keep coming to meetings when you can and sign up to volunteer at the Museum when you are free.

Membership is from September to September.

Non‑member subscription to The Mountain Gem is $20.00 per year. Donations are tax deductible. The Mountain Gem is our monthly Newsletter.

Visitors are always welcome to join a meeting at the Robert C Carpenter Community Building, 1228 Georgia Highway (441 South) in Franklin, NC on the last Thursday of the month at 6:30pm. July, October and December meetings are TBA.
